This place is a hidden gem that has been in Utah for decades! At the heart of Salt Lake City, Little America is one of the classiest and nicest hotels has to offer. And inside? They have the Coffee Shop!
The Coffee Shop at Little America always gives warm rolls with butter and jam! In fact, they go through 22,000 rolls a month they are that popular! This is just the beginning to your treat created by Executive Chef, Bernhard Götz! He has over 50 years experience and is the mastermind behind the Coffee and Lucky H Bar. ( In 2008, he was named ACF Western Regional Chef of the year and featured on PBS’s Great Chefs of America Series!)
Don’t miss out on the Chicken Noodle Soup!
After indulging myself with too many rolls (my curse lol) and diet coke. I make my selection. Each day is a different trip to the Coffee shop as there is a new special. In particular, I like to go on Sunday as that is the only day they serve their holy chicken noodle soup. Which, as Angels as my witnesses, is the best chicken noodle soup on this planet. I always open up with a bowl of chicken noodle soup and a side salad with ranch and thousand island dressing! I would literally give anything to get the recipe for those dressings!
You literally cannot go wrong with anything on the menu, everything is so fantastic! My all-time go tos are the following:
- Turkey Dinner
- French Dip Sandwich
- Club Sandwich
Literally, I love this place to death. I’ve never had anything on the menu I didn’t like! They also have a super underrated breakfast! I got a Denver Omelet and I’m still hooked! They also make their fries crispy and crunchy as they should be. Soooooo amazing!
I’ve never had such amazing Raspberry Pie in my life. This stuff truly is the bee’s knees! If that doesn’t tickle your fancy, the Coffee shop is also known for their Burnt Almond Fudge Ice Cream.
