The Ultimate Cheesy BBQ Chicken Recipe is one of the first recipes I ever created! It includes some of my favorite cheese of all time! Mozzarella cheese from Cache Valley® Creamery! Grab some of your favorite BBQ and include those sauteed onions to go with it, you’ll be having yourself a plentiful feast. This recipe was born while I was serving my LDS mission in New England. I had a companion who went to culinary school and taught me how to cook chicken properly and sautee onions. Now I am passing on that beautiful blessing to you!

The Ultimate Cheesy BBQ Chicken Recipe
It’s now been 13 years since I’ve made this recipe and it is still one I make frequently! It has been a family favorite as well. My kids love cheese and that mozzarella cheese from Cache Valley® Creamery! If you want to provide some variety, don’t be afraid to use some chicken thigh instead of chicken breast as it brings a little razzle dazzle in flavor. The salted sweet cream butter from Cache Valley® Creamery also is perfect when it comes to sauteeing those onions. For simplicity and ease you can use a range or oven. But if you really want to get creative I love to smoke it on my Traeger grill as well. That extra smoke flavor really gives the chicken some extra flavor. One of the best investments I’ve made as a foody has been investing in a smoker. It doesn’t necessarily need to be a Traeger but Traeger has always served me good.
