The Ultimate Bacon-Wrapped Beef Tenderloin Recipe

  • 2 8 oz Beef Tenderloin
  • 4 Strips Bacon
  • 2 tsp Olive Oil
  • Lee's Special Rub or Traeger's Prime Rib Rub
  • Signature Traeger Mixed Pellets
  • Twine


  • Preheat Smoker to 185° degrees.
  • Take cuts of beef tenderloin and use twine to holds bacon around edges of steak.
  • Put a tsp of olive oil on each steak and season to likening
  • Once the smoker is preheated, put the steaks on and let them smoke for 30 minutes. Turn on super smoker feature if available with your smoker.
  • After 30 minutes, pull the steaks out and turn up smoker to 450°. Once the smoker reaches that temperature. Put the steaks back until desired doneness. Medium rare is my choice and that's in between 130°-135°!
  • Take them out and enjoy!
