The Ultimate Bacon-Wrapped Beef Tenderloin Recipe
One of the best steaks you can eat on the planet
- 2 8 oz Beef Tenderloin
- 4 Strips Bacon
- 2 tsp Olive Oil
- Lee's Special Rub or Traeger's Prime Rib Rub
- Signature Traeger Mixed Pellets
Preheat Smoker to 185° degrees.
Take cuts of beef tenderloin and use twine to holds bacon around edges of steak.
Put a tsp of olive oil on each steak and season to likening
Once the smoker is preheated, put the steaks on and let them smoke for 30 minutes. Turn on super smoker feature if available with your smoker.
After 30 minutes, pull the steaks out and turn up smoker to 450°. Once the smoker reaches that temperature. Put the steaks back until desired doneness. Medium rare is my choice and that's in between 130°-135°!
Take them out and enjoy!
